World Oceans' Day is on 9th June so this is our Solo event for the month of June. Complete a single activity of either 3km, 5km, 10km or 21.1km to earn your awesome medal. Unfortunately, you can't swim for this medal but you can always go and enjoy the oceans for a swim if travel is permitted this year. Please remember to keep the beaches clean of rubbish to help save the animals of the oceans.
The medal for this event is in the style of an elaborate fish bowl. The bowl area has an epoxy coating to make it feel a little more 3D with all of the fish, dolphins, whale, crab and coral residing underneath. Another fun medal for your hangers.
For the Oceans' Day virtual run, we will be giving away 10 lucky draw Prize Boxes of RFTW goodies worth £25. All runners who complete their chosen distance will be entered into the draw for a chance to win these great prizes.
10% of your entry fee to this event will be sent to the Run For The World Charity Pot. The total raised will be shared equally between our two amazing charities chosen for 2021. These are The Third Age Trust and Anthony Nolan. If you know of a charity that would be interested in partnering with us for 2022, please feel free to email us at firstname.lastname@example.org
5% of each entry fee (excluding VAT paid and shipping) for this event will be paid by Run For the World to The Third Age Trust (charity number 01759471).
5% of each entry fee (excluding VAT paid and shipping) for this event will be paid by Run For the World to Anthony Nolan Trading Limited, a company wholly owned by Anthony Nolan (charity numbers 803716/SCO38827). Anthony Nolan Trading Limited gift aids its taxable profits to Anthony Nolan.
