The most famous rainbow mountain range is in Peru, near Cusco, and stands around 5,000m above sea level. Unfortunately, the range is covered by clouds for large portions of the year, however if you can time it well, you're in for an absolute treat! Run/Walk an accumulated 30km, 100km or 200km in your own time to earn yourself this medal in either the bronze, silver or gold version.
This medal really brings out the colours in this mountain range. The different shades of brown/yellow with deep reds also visible are a sight to behold. For some, it is a 'believe it when I see it' wonder, however it is definitely worth the visit if you can. There are outlines of bronze, silver or gold for the three distance choices.
