International Reggae Day is on 1st July and is in recognition of the music genre of the Jamaican heritage. We all love a little dance after we finish our run (don't we?!) so why not run/walk this event with some Reggae music on your playlist as you dance your way over the finish line? You can choose from 5km, 10km and 21.1km to run or walk in a single activity any time during July, 2021.
We've got another funky medal for you with our cool Reggae Lion chilling in the summer sun after a long run! Depending on which distance you choose, the 'pin badge' in the lion's hat will have 5km, 10km or 21.1km written on it. This is definitely a medal to show off to your friends.
For the Reggae Day virtual run, we will be giving away 10 lucky draw Prize Boxes of RFTW goodies worth £25. All runners who complete their chosen distance will be entered into the draw for a chance to win these great prizes.
10% of your entry fee to this event will be sent to the Run For The World Charity Pot. The total raised will be shared equally between our two amazing charities chosen for 2021. These are The Third Age Trust and Anthony Nolan. If you know of a charity that would be interested in partnering with us for 2022, please feel free to email us at contact@runfortheworld.org
5% of each entry fee (excluding VAT paid and shipping) for this event will be paid by Run For the World to The Third Age Trust (charity number 01759471).
5% of each entry fee (excluding VAT paid and shipping) for this event will be paid by Run For the World to Anthony Nolan Trading Limited, a company wholly owned by Anthony Nolan (charity numbers 803716/SCO38827). Anthony Nolan Trading Limited gift aids its taxable profits to Anthony Nolan.
