Wildlife Day is on 3rd March, so we have decided that our March 'Solo' event will be to celebrate our beautiful wildlife. We need to make sure that we look after our wildlife as much as possible. Most of us enjoy running through parks and hopefully see lots of plants and animals en route. For this event, you have a choice of 3km, 5km, 10km and 21.1km to run or walk in a single activity anytime during March, 2021.
Our medal for this event depicts the amazing British wildlife. We have incorporated several 3D animals that make our wildlife so beautiful. These are deer, a badger, an owl, a squirrel and a mandarin duck. These animals are set in a wooded park, their natural habitat. Hopefully you can see some of these whilst on your run for this event!
For the Wildlife Day virtual run, we will be giving away 10 lucky draw Prize Boxes of RFTW goodies worth £25. All runners who complete their chosen distance will be entered into the draw for a chance to win these great prizes.
10% of your entry fee to this event will be sent to the Run For The World Charity Pot. The total raised will be shared equally between our two amazing charities chosen for 2021. These are The Third Age Trust and Anthony Nolan. If you know of a charity that would be interested in partnering with us for 2022, please feel free to email us at contact@runfortheworld.org
5% of each entry fee (excluding VAT paid and shipping) for this event will be paid by Run For the World to The Third Age Trust (charity number 01759471).
5% of each entry fee (excluding VAT paid and shipping) for this event will be paid by Run For the World to Anthony Nolan Trading Limited, a company wholly owned by Anthony Nolan (charity numbers 803716/SCO38827). Anthony Nolan Trading Limited gift aids its taxable profits to Anthony Nolan.
